Pullmantur to Turn Around in Malmo in 2013

Spanish cruise operator Pullmantur has confirmed it will transfer its turnaround operation in the Baltic from Copenhagen to Malmo, starting in May 2013.

The port will renovate the quayside for the cruise line, and an existing warehouse will be turned into a dedicated cruise terminal. Pullmantur will fly passengers in on its own fleet of jets directly to Malmo airport.

The Empress is scheduled to complete 10 turnarounds at the port in 2013 for her Northern European season.

Other Baltic turnaround ports for Pullmantur include Trondheim, in Norway and Tallin, Estonia.
