Galveston Looking into Third Terminal

The Port of Galveston has begun a conceptual study for a third cruise terminal.

The port’s board approved up to $60,000 for a study to be conducted, which will outline options for expanding Galveston’s cruise berths – which can now handle two ships at once. The port has the upland to create a third terminal.

Later this year, Galveston will welcome the Disney Magic for a seasonal program as well as the Crown Princess for an initial series of 19 sailings.
