Pullmantur’s summer season from Trondheim, Norway, is the underway.
The passenger ratings from the first two turn-arounds were very good, according to Kirsti Ostensjo, marketing consultant for the port of Trondheim.
On a scale from zero 10, the first turn-around was rated at 8.15 and the second at 8.9, including all passenger movements between the airport and the ship. Ostensjo said the goal is to achieve a 9.5 rating. The Empress is turning around four times this summer, with 1,800 passengers each time, and is already booked for 2013.
