Paul Gauguin Cruises Announces New Policy on Rebating

Paul Gauguin Cruises has announced a new policy regarding rebating.

To ensure that rebating is not occurring, the company is implementing a formal policy effective for all bookings made on or after June 1, 2012.

The policy stipulates that final cruise payment by credit card must be made in the full gross amount due. Travel agents may pay net price at final payment, if full payment is made with a travel agency check or wire transfer.

Travel agencies may not advertise a lower price on Paul Gauguin Cruises than the published price that Paul Gauguin Cruises is offering. Travel agencies may advertise amenities such as a shipboard credit included in a promotion authorized by Paul Gauguin Cruises.

Paul Gauguin Cruises reserves the right to reduce a travel agent’s commission and/or marketing support if the policy is violated.
