ALMACO Offers Modular Cabins and Wet Units for Newbuilding Projects

In order to provide customized turnkey solutions for passenger ship cabin areas for both modernization and new building projects, ALMACO has supplemented its supplier network with new production partners in Asia.

Cooperation with the large Chinese manufacturing company Hua Nan, which specializes in fireproof cabin systems, also allows ALMACO to respond to quality and cost efficiency requirements.

A solid worldwide network of suppliers, reliable production partners in China, and experience gained from various cabin modernization projects enable ALMACO to offer the best products, latest solutions, and reasonable prices for cabin areas onboard passenger ships. ALMACO delivers modular, prefabricated or kit cabins, and wet units. The cabins and wet units are always customized for each specific new building or modernization project.

All the products ALMACO and Hua Nan use in cabins and wet units are type approved by the relevant authorities. ALMACO Spare Part Services and ALMACO Total Modernization Management services guarantee the lifetime functionality and productivity of the cabin areas. ALMACO’s complete turnkey delivery includes services from planning and prefabrication to installation and commissioning.

“This is a natural step. We are one of the leading partners in cabin modernizations with more than 10,000 cabins modernized. Now we are ready to enter the new building market. Our goal is to be the best service provider for all Hotel Areas onboard and therefore to be considered by passenger ship owners to be the one reliable source for all these areas,” says Inkeri Lehti, VP Sales and Marketing at ALMACO. In addition to Europe and the USA, ALMACO has gradually extended its presence in China by developing cooperation with reliable production partners that it has been working with since 2001. ALMACO has also signed a cooperation agreement with Yu Lian Dock Yards in China to offer a complete Total Modernization Management service in the Asian region.
