Azamara Quest Update

Following an engine fire yesterday, propulsion and power has been returned to the Azamara Quest as the ship makes its way to Malaysia, with 617 passengers aboard.

A number of crew members suffered from smoke inhalation and are being treated in the ship’s medical facilities.

Azamara will cancel the rest of the cruise for ship repairs and media reports said that company President and CEO Larry Pimentel was planning to fly to Malaysia to meet passengers, who will receive a full refund and a future cruise voucher.
