End of Clean-up Operations in Santorini

Louis Hellenic Cruises wishes to inform that a committee comprising of: the Mayor of Santorini, the head of the island’s Coast Guard and a representative of the local company Environmental Protection Engineering conducted an inspection of all the shores of the island of Santorini that were affected by oil stemming from the sinking of the cruise ship Sea Diamond on April 6th 2007.

The aforementioned committee having conducted a thorough inspection of thousands of meters of shorelines unanimously concluded and duly signed a protocol stating that the response work conducted was fully satisfactory.

The excellent results of the said inspection prove that the company and its insurers took the appropriate and most effective measures from the very beginning, handing over to the local authorities the shores duly clean and unaffected from any pollution.
