Costa Allegra Wednesday Update

Costa Crociere has said that the situation onboard the Allegra, under tow to Mahe after a fire and without power, is “regular,” with good weather and no news to report.

The ship is expected in Mahe on March 1, 9 a.m. local time.

Onboard Costa is providing soda, and cold foods, cold cuts, fruits and cheeses, along with mineral water. Fresh bread has been delivered through a helicopter.

The Costa “Care Team” is set to arrive to the ship today, and they will work with passengers to care for individual needs. More members of the “Care Team” in Mahe have arranged for more than 400 hotel rooms and 600 airline seats.
