Royal Caribbean Adding 100 Employees at Oregon Call Center

Royal Caribbean Cruises is planning to add 100 employees to its Springfield, Oregon call center by this November.

The call center opened in 2006, and is said to require for a minimum number of employees to meet a requirement in a loan forgiveness agreement the company has with the state of Oregon.

Media reports said that the new hires will bring the call center’s total number of employees to 520.

The line is said to be hiring both customer service representatives to work with travel agents, as well as customer service representatives to work with customers, and sales agents to take direct bookings.

Royal Caribbean has a full-time wellness advisor at the call center, and offers employees a familiarization cruise, at no charge, after one year of employment.
