New Orleans Set to Welcome Voyager of the Seas in November

Royal Caribbean International and the Port of New Orleans hosted a special evening reception for regional travel agents on May 24 at the port’s administrative offices to celebrate the highly anticipated return of the cruise line in November 2011. Voyager of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship ever to homeport in New Orleans, offering seven-night, roundtrip vacations to the Western Caribbean during winter 2011-12 and generating more than 75,000 cruise guests for the city.

For winter 2012-13, Royal Caribbean recently announced that it will continue service from New Orleans with Navigator of the Seas. Both ships will dock at the new Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which will have completed a $12 million renovation.
