To fulfill the expectations of its growing Hispanic market, Holland America Line is adding a Spanish-speaking host and Spanish-language guided tours on 12 of ms Ryndam’s fall 2011 Mediterranean cruises sailing roundtrip from Barcelona, Spain.

The hosts will assist Spanish-speaking guests to make arrangements both on board and ashore. Additionally, the popular City Highlights shore excursion in each port will be offered in Spanish.

“As a global company, Holland America Line recognizes the value of offering our guests shore excursions in their native language to some of the world’s most attractive historical and cultural sites," said Richard Meadows, CTC, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs for Holland America Line. “By offering tours led by Spanish-speaking guides to architectural wonders and iconic ports in the Mediterranean, our guests can be assured of receiving rich, lifetime memories on these unique cruises departing aboard the ms Ryndam."

During Ryndam’s 2011 Mediterranean voyages, guests can marvel at the genius of Picasso in Barcelona, Spain, tour the 14th-century Franciscan monastery at Dubrovnik, Croatia, or explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii in Naples, Italy.
