TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 2 is slated to be christened as the wellness ship, celebrated by a special menu created by German celebrity chefs Cornelia Poletto, Wahabi Nouri and Björn Freitag. The event will take place in Hamburg on May 14, and the menu will be served in the ship’s main restaurant, the Atlantik.

The trio has been working on the menu since April 12 when they met with Captain Kjell Holm, F&B Director Rupert Kien and Richard J. Vogel, CEO of TUI Cruises.

“The christening is a very special event and experience for us,” said Vogel in a prepared statement, “and want to make sure we have very special menu to celebrate with. We know the three top chefs will create an unforgettable culinary experience.”
