Floating Hotel Accommodations

International Shipping Partners (ISP) and Blue Water Shipping have signed an agreement to market the ISP fleet of vessels to the offshore industry as floating hotel accommodations under the brand name “Comfort at Sea.”

The agreement covers a fleet of 23 ferry, cruise and hotel vessels managed by ISP, but initially Blue Water Shipping’s marketing will focus on five vessels only.

ISP has extensive knowledge in managing accommodation vessels with offshore track records from the Mexican Gulf; as living quarters in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina; and in Haiti for the UN employees assisting the local communities after the earthquake in 2010.

“The combination of our two companies will be a powerful brand in the industry, and the commercial work is underway with the first charter in the making.” said Blue Water Shipping founder and shipbroker Kurt Skov.

“We are looking forward to supplying our vessels to the offshore industry and will be able to provide tailor-made hotel accommodation at sea,” commented Niels-Erik Lund, president of ISP.

ISP will be the manager of the new product while Blue Water Shipping will focus on marketing.
