Royal Caribbean Announces 2010 Travel Partners of the Year

Royal Caribbean International today announced the cruise line’s Travel Partners of the Year awards for 2010. These recognitions are especially meaningful as these travel partners, each with their own unique business model, have made significant contributions to the overall success of Royal Caribbean International in the past year. The partners have helped promote the cruise line and articulate its value, and have each impressively grown their sales.

Royal Caribbean International’s 2010 Travel Partners of the Year award recipients are:

            President’s Award for Overall Achievement   Avoya Travel, Miami Fla.

            Home-based Partner of the Year                     Cruise Planners, Coral Springs, Fla.

            Consortia Partner of the Year                          Vacation.com, Alexandria, Va.

            Northeast Region Partner of the Year             Direct Line Cruises, Hauppauge, NY

            Mid-Atlantic Region Partner of the Year         AAA Mid-Atlantic, Wilmington, DE

            Southeast Region Partner of the Year             Prestige Travel Systems, Tampa, Fla.

            Midwest Region Partner of the Year               AffordableTours.com, Stafford, Texas

            West Region Partner of the Year                     SEACruises, Cerritos, Calif.

            Canada Partner of the Year                             Transat Holidays- Cruises, a division of Transat Tours Canada Inc., Montreal, Quebec

            Corporate and Incentive Partner of the Year   Buy the Sea, Plantation, Fla.

Miami-based Avoya Travel is receiving the President’s Award for Overall Achievement for the second consecutive year and third year total. Additionally, Cruise Planners (Coral Springs, Fla.) is being named the Home-based Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. Buy the Sea (Plantation, Fla.) also wins their third consecutive Corporate and Incentive Partner of the Year award; and AffordableTours.com (Stafford, Texas) picks up their second consecutive Midwest Region Partner of the Year award.
