Carnival Cruise Lines has enhanced its travel agent portal with a new name and a new look designed to create greater ease of use for travel agents. Formerly called, the new features improved site organization and design, a new site search powered by Google, an up-to-date Resource Center, and an enhanced eBrochure portal.

 The new look and feel of the site was specifically designed for travel agent ease of use. features a new Resource Center, giving agents faster access to a comprehensive library of program and product information. Finding links is enhanced with the site search powered by Google. In addition, Carnival removed the log-in requirement for unsecured areas so that travel agents can explore the site without waiting to log in to the system. When travel agents enter the site with a user name and password for secured areas, they will be personally greeted and have access to My Profile, a new feature that makes managing their personal settings easier than ever.

 “We challenged ourselves to find new ways to make information easier to access and more intuitive, which is what our travel agent partners will find on the new,” said Joni Rein, vice president of worldwide sales for Carnival Cruise Lines. “The site is the first in a series of exciting state-of-the-art tools we’re building to help improve ease of information and accessibility for our travel agent partners.”

 Another key design enhancement of the new portal is its one-click access. Created directly as a result of travel agent feedback, this design ensures that the most popular areas of the site are always just “one click away.”  In addition, an enhanced eBrochure portal allows travel agents to select and customize digital brochures, bookmark relevant content and send it to prospective clients with customized email messages.
