Martinoli Steps Aside at NCL

Norwegian Cruise Line confirms that Roberto Martinoli will move into a consulting capacity effective August 1, according to a statement from the company. In his new capacity, Martinoli will continue to oversee the company’s newbuild program and will assist in other areas as necessary.

For personal reasons, Roberto has accepted a position as CEO of a ferry company in his hometown of Genoa, Italy where his family resides. Roberto has been an incredible asset to the company over the past year, particularly in the building and launch of Norwegian Epic. Everyone at Norwegian Cruise Line wishes him well in his new role, NCL said in its statement.
