High Speed Train for Passengers in Romania

Work is said to be underway on a high speed train connection between the cruise port of Constantza and the capital of Bucharest. What is normally a three to four hour coach ride will be reduced to two hours or less, according to those familiar with the project. Bucharest rates high on shore excursions except for the distance and with the train, Constantza would become a much more attractive port, sources suggested. The train station is in the center of the capital, and in Constantza, adjacent to the cruise port. Train coaches can also be reserved exclusively for cruise passengers.
