Valid until the end of the year, the offer rewards Vacation.com member agencies that sign a three-year conversion agreement with Amadeus a competitive signing bonus, access to the Amadeus system, valuable incentives and more than $17,000 in product and fee savings over the course of the contract, according to press release from the travel company.
“Providing our membership with a cost-saving proposal from the global leader in GDS and IT products is a benefit only a Vacation.com member can enjoy,” said Steve Tracas,
Vacation.com’s president and CEO. “Hundreds of our members have already chosen to partner with Amadeus.
Available to first-time Amadeus customers only, the offer includes product and fee savings such as free access to the Amadeus Selling Platform, quarterly Preferred Supplier sales incentives, free membership in Vacation.com for two years and a $2,500 marketing credit for Vacation.com’s Engagement direct marketing materials.
“This is a great opportunity for first-time customers to experience all that Amadeus has to offer their agency. We trust that once they realize how dedicated we are to their business needs, they will become lifetime members,” said Tom Cates, chief commercial officer of Amadeus North America.
Vacation.com claims to be the largest travel services marketing organization in North America, serving independent retail travel agencies across the U.S. and Canada. Vacation.com is a subsidiary of Amadeus IT Group, SA, and maintains its headquarters in Alexandria, VA.
