Seabourn Offers the Most Luxury Cruises in Europe for 2011

With the addition of the all-suite Seabourn Quest next summer, The Yachts of Seabourn will offer the most ultra luxury cruise berths in Europe next year. The line’s six intimate ships, none of which carries over 450 guests, will blanket Europe with an array of 143 fascinating, small-ship voyages of seven to 15 days, spanning the continent from the North Cape to the Crimea and from Iceland to the Greek Isles.

“If you want to travel in Europe next year, and you want to travel well, there’s a Seabourn suite waiting to take you wherever you want to go,” said Pamela C. Conover, Seabourn’s President and CEO. “We have the most departures, the most experience, the most interesting itineraries, and with Seabourn Value Fares saving you up to 65 percent, we absolutely offer the greatest values in European luxury cruising in 2011.”

Travelers interested in the Baltic, Russia and Scandinavia can choose between cruises of seven to 10 days aboard the line’s brand-new, 450-guest Seabourn Sojourn, or slightly longer 12- to 15-day voyages aboard the 208-guest Seabourn Pride.

In the Mediterranean, Seabourn Spirit is focused on a pair of ravishing, seven-day Adriatic voyages sailing roundtrip from Venice to the gems of Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia, while Seabourn Legend concentrates on one-week cruises of the French and Italian Rivieras and the seductive beauties of Spain.

Meanwhile, the stunning Seabourn Odyssey and her new sister yacht Seabourn Quest, launching in June 2011, will be plying the Aegean, Greek isles and Turkey between Venice, Athens and Istanbul with departures weekly, plus a pair of ventures into the Black Sea.

Seabourn’s ascendancy is traceable to the completion of its three-year, three- yacht expansion that introduced a new class of ultra luxury vessels to the market. Seabourn Odyssey was hailed as “a game-changer” when it debuted and, along with Seabourn Sojourn, it continues to attract and satisfy a tremendous influx of younger, first-time affluent cruisers drawn by their smart, contemporary styling and enhanced onboard amenities, strongly bolstered by Seabourn’s unparalleled personalized service.

All Seabourn yachting itineraries are designed as a mix of must-see cities and the hidden gems that larger ships miss. This provides a vacation rich in opportunities for authentic experiences and unexpected delights that make any voyage memorable. Creature comforts are beyond compare, and the thoughtful, sincere service from nearly one staff member per guest ensures a carefree interlude that is at once relaxing and invigorating. Open-seating dining and complimentary open bars create a club-like ambience that encourages an easy-going, sociable onboard atmosphere.

With the introduction of Seabourn Value Fares, this award-winning, highly inclusive onboard experience is available at unprecedented savings of up to 65 percent, with fares starting from $2,499 per person, based on double occupancy of a spacious ocean-view suite.
