Seabourn Announces Jack Anderson as Senior VP of Sales & Marketing

The Yachts of Seabourn announced that it has named veteran cruise executive Jack Anderson to a newly created position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, overseeing the luxury line’s guest acquisition efforts during its rapid expansion. Anderson assumes the role today, reporting directly to Pamela C. Conover, Seabourn’s President and CEO.

Anderson was previously Vice President of Marketing for Carnival Corporation, spearheading the cross-brand marketing initiatives of all of Carnival’s autonomous North American operating brands as the World’s Leading Cruise Lines. His 22-year career also included stints as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Holland America Line and Windstar Cruises.

“We are gratified that Jack has agreed to come back aboard and offer us the benefit of his tremendous experience,” said Conover. “His insightful understanding of the Seabourn brand, combined with the knowledge and perspective he gained during rapid expansions at both Holland America and Carnival, will be invaluable to us as we expand Seabourn’s capacity by over 200 percent in three years.”

Seabourn has just taken delivery of Seabourn Sojourn, the second of three new 450-guest yachts being built for the line in Italy. Seabourn Odyssey, the first newly built vessel for the line in over 16 years, was launched in 2009 and has been hailed as “a game-changer” for the luxury segment of the industry. The third vessel, Seabourn Quest, is due for delivery next June.
