Hurtigruten Cruises Expands into Latin America

Hurtigruten Cruises, a major adventure cruise line, has selected Discover the World Marketing to handle its sales and marketing in the Latin American countries of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

According to Hurtigruten Cruises Director of Sales Rolf Logan, “We know there are some excellent potential growth opportunities in these countries based on our research. Because Discover has helped us to increase our business in other countries and is a proven sales partner, it was a natural step for us to select them again.”

“We are pleased Hurtigruten Cruises has used our experience representing them in Australia and New Zealand as a stepping stone for increasing their partnership with us,” said Jenny Adams, CEO for Discover the World Marketing. “It is always our goal to increase the visibility of our clients such as Hurtigruten Cruises, because it ends up benefiting all of us. Discover has vast experience in selling cruise products around the world and we anticipate this new Latin American representation will do very well.

Hurtigruten is famous for its Norwegian coastal cruises that literally hug the coast and travel in and out of the most spectacular fjords in the world and prides itself on its specialists’ knowledge about wildlife and environment. It has also expanded its coastal hugging philosophy to create cruises to such destinations as Antarctica, Greenland and Spitsbergen. The Hurtigruten fleet consists of 14 purpose-built vessels that have been specifically designed for the waters in which it operates. It also has a fascinating history that started delivering mail, cargo and passengers through Norway’s fjords more than 116 years ago.

Discover the World Marketing operates a unique and truly global network consisting of 84 offices in more than 60 countries. Regardless of size, Discover offers simple, manageable and effective solutions to fit any company’s needs and budget.
