Seadream Ventures to Northern Europe in 2011

SeaDream Yacht Club will sail one ship in Northern Europe in the summer of 2011 calling in Scandinavia, the Baltic and the Atlantic Coast of France, Spain and Portugal.

The plan has been to offer something new, according to a Seadream press release.

From May through August award-winning SeaDream I—one of its elegant twin mega yacht cruisers— will sail these new routes.

Among highlights will be: The line’s first call on London; summertime scenic cruising in the Norwegian fjords; daylight sailing through the Stockholm Archipelago; a visit to Hamburg; two nights and three days in St. Petersburg; a call on Copenhagen; transit of the Kiel Canal; a stop at the seldom-visited Jersey Islands; calls in Brittany; a visit to Bordeaux; and more unusual, less visited stops along the Atlantic Coast of Spain and Portugal.

Prior to these voyages, the SeaDream I will make a 15-day transatlantic sailing in April 2011 from San Juan, Puerto Rico across the Atlantic to London with a stop in the Azores. Following her London call, SeaDream I will sail for Bremerhaven, where she will undergo dry docking for routine maintenance and upkeep, prior to starting her Northern Europe program.

Seadream expects to have complete 2011 schedules and itineraries up on its website and be ready to accept bookings by the weekend of November 20.

The Seadream II will be returning to the Mediterranean and both ships will sail in theCaribbean during the winter
