Clelia II calls at Palm Beach

The Port of Palm Beach District’s is continuing its efforts to make the Port of Palm Beach a destination or port of call for luxury cruises ships. The all-suite Clelia II made a port of call visit to the Port of Palm Beach on Oct.9. The ship underwent extensive refurbishment, redecoration and other improvements earlier this year. The private yacht-like ship accommodates 100 guests in 50 suites. The ship’s public facilities include a restaurant, two lounges, library, state-of-the-art gym/spa, beauty salon, boutique, Jacuzzi, and hospital. After leaving the Port of Palm Beach, the Clelia II sailed to Pt. Limon, Costa Rica. Port Chairman Edward Oppel said “the Clelia II’s visit reflects the Port’s determination to expand its business during an economic slowdown.”
