Royal Caribbean Launches Royal Incentive Rewards

Royal Caribbean International today officially launched Royal Incentive Rewards, a new turnkey incentive solution for businesses and organizations looking to improve company performance. Royal Incentive Rewards are incentive cruise certificates that companies can use to reward individual performance. To kick-off the new incentive program, Royal Caribbean is providing travel agents with the opportunity to offer certificates to consumers to purchase and give as gifts or use for a future cruise vacation when purchased from August 17 through September 18, 2009.

A range of certificate levels are available, which offer an array of choices in departure ports around the world; ship selection; itineraries up to 12 nights; and inside, outside and balcony accommodations. Recipients enjoy the freedom to travel at their convenience and have the ability to upgrade or transfer their certificate. Through Royal Incentive Rewards, companies can now wield the compelling incentive of an exciting vacation with Royal Caribbean International.

“Organizations can employ the enticing Royal Incentive Rewards to offer real value to their top performers, while employees will appreciate the flexibility to enjoy their reward of a memorable Royal Caribbean vacation,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Sales, Trade Support and Services, Royal Caribbean International. “With Royal Incentive Rewards, Royal Caribbean is alsohelping travel agents increase their business by creating this new compelling product to market to their corporate clients. For a limited time, travel agents can offer vacationers the ability to purchase Royal Incentive Rewards as a special gift for a special event or the upcoming holidays.”

Royal Incentive Rewards offer ease and simplicity for the purchaser and recipient. The certificates are paid in full up-front and mailed to the purchaser, who provides the certificate to the certificate recipient. There is no minimum or maximum number of certificates required to be purchased and Royal Incentive Rewards certificates have no expiration dates. Once the recipient is ready to book a cruise, they simply call the Royal Incentive Rewards Desk, and the cruise line will handle the rest.
