A well known name in the cruise industry, Karen Doyle, has recently joined the Thomson Cruises team as General Manager for Cruise.

Karen will be responsible for taking the TUI UK cruise business forward by overseeing all in-house Thomson and Island Cruises sales, as well as sales for all third party cruise lines.

Before joining Thomson Cruises, Karen held the position of Head of National Accounts for Royal Caribbean International – a company she was with for 11 years.  Her role oversaw all relationships with sales and key trade partners, which actually included TUI UK.  Prior to RCCL, Karen has held a wealth of travel sales roles with Emirates Airlines, Air UK/KLM, Cunard and Thomas Cook.

On her new role Karen had this to say: “I am very excited to be joining Thomson Cruises in this brand new role, it will enable us to give cruise a dedicated focus within the TUI company as a whole.  The investment TUI is making within the cruise arena will ensure Thomson Cruises play a key part in the ever increasing growth of the UK cruise market.”
