Adam Goldstein Inducted into Hall of Leaders

Adam Goldstein, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International, was named last week to the U.S. Travel Association’s Hall of Leaders for “sustained, noteworthy contributions that have positively impacted the travel industry, stimulated greater achievement, and raised industry-wide standards.” Over the past 21 years, Goldstein has been a leader of Royal Caribbean’s pioneering work in cruise ship design, product delivery, safety & environmental stewardship and sales & marketing. He currently serves as a member of the Energy Security Leadership Council, a group of leading CEOs and retired military leaders dedicated to spurring a comprehensive solution to U.S. energy security. Goldstein has long been active in industry issues related to promotion and facilitation of travel to the U.S. He was National Chair of the U.S. Travel Association in 2001 and also served as chair of the USA Marketing Council from 1998 – 2000. Goldstein is now among 81 travel industry professionals who have been inducted into the Travel Industry Hall of Leaders since it was created in 1969.

Vision of the Seas Returns to North and Baltic Seas for Second Consecutive Season

Royal Caribbean International announced the return of Vision of the Seas to the North and Baltic seas for a second summer season in 2010. Dedicated to the Nordic market from April to September 2010, Vision of the Seas will feature 14 distinct itineraries on 24 sailings to 34 ports in 14 countries from the homeports of Copenhagen, Denmark; Oslo, Norway; and Stockholm, Sweden. Bookings for Royal Caribbean’s 2010 Baltic and North Sea cruises are now open.

Royal Caribbean International is proud to announce that it has received three coveted TravelAge West Readers’ Choice WAVE (Western Agents’ Voice of Excellence) Awards.
