High-stakes players come together on the high seas aboard some of the most innovative cruise ships in the world for a Royal Caribbean International vacation. In addition to a myriad of exclusive onboard amenities to enjoy – such as surfing simulators, ice skating rinks, cantilevered whirlpools and the cruise line’s iconic rock-climbing wall – guests 18 years or older (21 or older in Alaska) can join in world-class casino gaming and tournaments in the cruise line’s signature Casino Royale.

Whatever their game of choice, players have many opportunities to get onboard and get in on the action in a variety of tournaments. Guests on all four-night or longer itineraries in 2009 can buy into and vie for cash prizes and a complimentary cruise for two in the cruise line’s Royal Poker Tour. Winners of these satellite tournaments also will receive an entry to the Royal Poker Tour Championship to play for an estimated prize pool of $100,000.

“Slot aces” will enjoy a banner year aboard Royal Caribbean International cruise ships. With cruise vacation choices departing from convenient local ports, guests can buy into and compete in the 2009 Club Royale Slot Tournaments for cash prizes ranging from $6,000 - $15,000. West Coast vacationers can join in the excitement aboard Mariner of the Seas, the largest cruise ship to sail regularly in the Pacific Ocean now from Los Angeles. Two upcoming sailings – July 12 and November 22, 2009 – will feature slot tournaments on Mariner’s seven-night Mexican Riviera itinerary.
