The Symposium will discuss the potential of Canada/New England to grow as international cruise destinations.

In these economic times the proximity of Canada to New England may be an advantage for drive-to-market clients located near the homeports of Boston, New York, Montréal and Québec City.

One of the most beautiful regions in Québec, Saguenay is a perfect location for the 2009 Symposium. The trip over to Saguenay will unveil a rich, natural setting that wraps around a vibrant urban life, making this stopover an unforgettable experience. One may contemplate the majestic fjord, which is one-of-a-kind in North America as well as one of the longest waterways in the world, and from its shores take in the most beautiful towns in Québec. As the new port of call for the Canada/New England destinations, Saguenay will surely dazzle its passengers travelling on major international cruise lines.
