Aruba Cruise Tourism's Ernest Giel and Geraldine Keyter-Bisslik of De Palm Tours have created a unique program aimed at disabled cruise passengers.

Aruba is accessible for cruise passengers traveling in wheelchairs, with excursion companies offering exceptional service and targeted programs.

Recently Julia Hollenbeck, President & CEO of Wheel Me On…, a nonprofit Travel Agent Association for wheelchair accessibility based in Clarksville, Tennessee visited the island while on the Island Princess. Jonathan Boekhoudt of the Aruba Cruise Tourism welcomed Mrs. Hollenbeck to Aruba.

The island of Aruba is wheelchair friendly, also allowing passengers to roam the capital, Oranjestad, go shopping, sample local culinary delights, enjoy parks and visit museums.
