The Port of Copenhagen has reproted 301 ship calls and 560,000 passengers for 2008, up 10 percent from 2007. Ferry traffic saw a 3 percent decline in passengers to 830,000.
The total freight volume for was 18 million tons only a single percentage point lower than 2007. Dry bulk and cars, however, fell by 10 and 20 percent, respectively.
