Costa Cruises Gives Travelers

Costa, Europe’s Number One Cruise Line, is offering travelers so much more “amore” on 2009 Europe sailings, including free upgrades, onboard credits, Kids Sail Free specials and up to 60% savings. These special offers are available on select Europe 2009 sailings aboard Costa’s fleet of ships, including the new Costa Luminosa and Costa Pacifica, which will come into service in April and May 2009 respectively.

The “So Much More Amore” promotion features a variety of exciting deals for travelers sailing to Europe in 2009. It includes free upgrades of up to two categories on numerous sailings from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean. In addition, onboard credits of $200 per cabin are available on select Mediterranean sailings, including popular 11-night Canary Island routes aboard the Costa Serena (departing from Savona and Barcelona) and the Costa Concordia (departing from Civitavecchia). Families will love available “Kids Sail Free” specials on numerous Mediterranean sailings, including summer departures and on the new Costa Pacifica. Fares beginning at just $449 per person offer up to 60% off regular fares on various Summer Mediterranean routes, making a European sun-filled vacation well within reach for many travelers.

“With free upgrades and onboard credits, incredible savings of up to 60% and ‘kids sail free’ specials, travelers are going to be hard-pressed to find a better way to see Europe in 2009 than with Costa,” said Maurice Zarmati, president and ceo of Costa Cruise Lines—North America. “There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy with this special promotion, from couples and families to groups of friends, which makes it the perfect time for travelers to come together and set sail with us in Europe.”

In addition, travel agents who book qualifying guests on sailings that are part of the “So Much More Amore” special will receive a $100 bonus commission.
