Costa Cruises Partners with Juventus

Costa Cruises today announced a new partnership with Italian football club Juventus.

As Juventus’ Official Cruise in Asia, Costa Cruises will offer a Juventus experience onboard its Costa Asia Fleet.

Guests may view Juventus content anytime from TV in each cabin, learn about Juventus’ history and check out related memorabilia at the well decorated “Juventus Museum” corner, and pick up Juventus branded souvenirs at the Juventus Shop.

Costa Cruises’ ships will also feature a branded mini club, where adults may relax while kids play with Juventus’ Official mascot, Jay. The highlight of the onboard football experience is a Juventus training program for those from 5 to 14 years old, who may sign up for regardless of technical level. The training program is modelled after Juventus’ soccer school Juventus Academy, and will be managed by trained coaches from Juventus.

“As a pioneer in Asia’s cruise industry, Costa Cruises continuously strives to create new and exciting onboard experiences that delight our guests and exceed their expectations,” said Mario Zanetti, President of Costa Group Asia. “Our landmark partnership with Italian football giant Juventus not only enriches our onboard offerings, but also further accentuates Costa Cruises’ Italian DNA. We look forward to exploring innovative partnerships with other iconic Italian brands to bring Italian culture to life for our guests.”

“This partnership represents the meeting of two Italian forces of overseas excellence: Juventus and Costa Cruises,” explained Giorgio Ricci, Juventus Co-Chief Revenue Officer & Head of Business Partnership – “An agreement that is testimony to the great attention of our Club to a market growing like the Asian one, in which the passion for football and for the Bianconeri colors is constantly expanding. Costa Cruises is definitely an ideal Partner with whom to develop joint entertainment activities. “
