According to a current brokers' list there are several cruise ships listed for sale, including:

America, $1,7 million.
Azure Seas, $25 million.
Britanis, $12,5 million.
Emerald Seas, $20 million.
Jason, $7,5 million.
New Shoreham II, $3 million.
Savannah, $6 million.
Sea Venture, no price given.
Starship Royal, $20 million.
Starward, $35 million.
Stella Maris, no price given.
Stella Oceanis, $10 million.
Stella Solaris, $35 million.
Sunward II, $25 million.
World Discoverer, $11 million.
World Renaissance, $18 million.

CIN stresses that it is not known whether the above ships are offered actively for sale or whether they are listed on the premise that "everything is for sale if the price is right."

Nevertheless, these and other ships that do not operate in North American waters were listed. It is most interesting perhaps to note the listing of Sea Venture while the new Miami-based company is planning a public stock offering to raise capital.

The listing of the Starship Royale may also indicate that while Premier Cruises is entertaining expansion plans and its parent company, the greyhound Corp, recently negotiated to acquire Home Lines, the cruise line may not increase capacity if it is seeking to sell one of its two present vessels.

The list also noted that the Caribe had been withdrawn from the market. The 23,000-ton ship, belonging to Commodore Cruise Line, had been listed for $35 million.
