French luxury expedition cruise line Ponant has announced a partnership with Ducasse Conseil, a catering consulting company run by Alain Ducasse Entreprise.

The two companies called it a long-term project, which will audit the culinary concept aboard and include training for all the line’s chefs. The goal is to provide consistently high levels of service and cuisine across the line’s 10 restaurants, according to Ponant.

“This collaboration will raise Ponant’s culinary standards to a new level to better meet the highest expectations of our very discerning French and international  passengers,” said  CEO Jean-Emmanuel Sauvée.
