Diamond Cruise to Start Up in China

Diamond Cruise will start operations with a second-hand ship in March, according to the China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association.

The ship will undergo a significant refurbishment in Europe to help transform it to cater to Chinese passengers.

Diamond Cruise said that it intends to invest $2.1 billion in ship hardware over the next five years.

Update: A previous version of this article reported that the Island Escape was the ship in question.
