Viking Sky Delivery Pushed Back Eight Months

Viking Ocean Cruises has confirmed that the delivery of the Viking Sky has been pushed back from June 2016 to February 2017.

Construction will be moved alongside the Viking Sea at Fincantieri’s Ancona facility.

“This will concentrate efforts and allow for a more efficient, streamlined process. In order to impact the fewest number of booked guests possible, Viking has changed the June-September 2016 deployments for both Viking Sea and Viking Sky. In total, 10 sailings will be redeployed – 5 for Viking Sea and 5 for Viking Sky,” said Viking in a statement.
