CT Cruise Ship Task Force No More

The Connecticut Cruise Ship Task Force is no more due to a lack of funding.

Most recently, the Dawn Princess stopped in New London on her 2014 world cruise. In 2008 the task force booked Princess for five calls, while other callers have included Royal Caribbean and Holland America, along with Blount.

The decision to disband the task force comes after legislation passed to create a state port authority that will be responsible for port operations in Connecticut.
