Guadeloupe Improves Services for Passengers and Crew

For this coming season, the Guadeloupe Board of Tourism has announced a renewed effort to ensure friendly taxi drivers. In addition, the Port of Pointe a Pitre is planning to have a space dedicated to crew members, where they can relax and have access to WiFi.

Taxi drivers are also undergoing English language training and will be dressed in blue polo shirts with the friendly taxi logo. Drivers will also have maps available for passengers and be able to offer advice on attractions.

Crew will be offered discounted shuttle service from the port to shopping malls.
