Royal Caribbean Celebrates Agents All Week

Royal Caribbean is recognizing that “Travel Agents Making the WOW Go ‘Round” and declaring the week of June 9th as Royal Caribbean Travel Agent Appreciation Week.

Nearly 100 Royal Caribbean executives and team members will surprise travel agents throughout the U.S. and Canada with gifts of appreciation at their workplaces. While Royal Caribbean Sales managers and specialists regularly visit travel agents in person as part of the cruise line’s Loyal To You Always commitment, Travel Agent Appreciation Week will provide them an opportunity to also meet with senior executives and exchange ideas that will create greater WOWs for vacationers. In total, Royal Caribbean aims to visit more than 4,000 travel agent partners throughout the week.

“Royal Caribbean appreciates travel agents every day, but we are dedicating this particular week to recognize and celebrate their important role in creating WOW vacations for their clients, who are our guests,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Sales, Trade Support and Services for Royal Caribbean International. “We want travel agents everywhere to know that we truly value them as our partners and that travel agents make the WOW go ‘round’ by recommending Royal Caribbean to their clients. Our Travel Agent Appreciation Week is part of our ongoing Loyal to You Always commitment to the travel agent community and we are demonstrating our commitment in force this week.”

As part of Travel Agent Appreciation Week, Royal Caribbean is offering multiple bonus incentives throughout the week to help travel agents earn more. Travel agents who make a new booking in a Crown Loft Suite or higher-category stateroom aboard Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas between June 9 through 30, 2014, will receive a bonus commission of $250 per stateroom. Furthermore, their clients will receive $1,000 onboard credit per stateroom and the third and fourth guest in the same stateroom also will sail free. Travel agents would need to make their bookings for sailings departing June 14 through Aug. 31, 2014, and note promotion code ‘SUITES’.

Additionally, From June 9 through 13, 2014, travel agents will earn an additional two points in commission for all new bookings on any 2014 Caribbean or Bahamas sailings, or additional one point in commission for all new bookings on any other 2014 sailing. Travel agents need to enter Promo Code “THANKS” on the new bookings to qualify.

Finally, travel agents can earn a chance to win five Royal Caribbean cruises, one each per year for five years. To qualify, travel agents need to book five Bermuda, Bahamas or Caribbean cruises departing July 1 through Dec. 31, 2014. Two of the bookings must also be aboard Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas and the bookings must be made from June 9 through July 20, 2014.
