NCL Takes Partnership 2.0 One Step Further with

Furthering its commitment to Partnership 2.0, a company-wide initiative to strengthen its relationships with travel partners, NCL Corporation (NCL) today unveiled a program whereby a number of its top executives, along with key staff, are making visits to travel partners around the country to gain feedback and insight.  During these visits, NCL executives are “walking in the shoes” of the travel partners by experiencing the NCL booking process from their perspective.

“Our goal with Partnership 2.0 is to show our travel partners that we are committed to making NCL the best partner,” said Andy Stuart, NCL’s executive vice president of marketing, sales and passenger services. “What better way to do that than to make a personal visit and to walk in their shoes. Through these visits, we are not only building strong relationships with our partners, but we are also gaining valuable feedback.  We will continue to change and enhance our policies and processes to make us the very best partner in the cruise industry.”

Visits to date have included CruiseDeals.com in Charlotte, NC; Columbus Travel in Salt Lake City, UT; World Travel Holdings in Miramar, FL; CruiseOne & Cruises, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Cruise Planners in Coral Springs, FL; and South Beach Cruises in Miami, FL.  Additional visits are planned.

“Thanks to Partnership 2.0 and the extra special effort of the NCL Channel Business Team, our relationship with NCL and our prospects for future sales growth have never been stronger,” said Vicky Garcia, senior vice president, sales and marketing for Cruise Planners. “Recently, several top NCL executives visited our offices in Coral Springs to listen, first hand, to the needs of our ever growing membership base. The time the NCL team took to listen to our members and staff from every level of our company was truly impressive.  This meeting was a great representation of NCL’s commitment to us as key partners, and what’s ahead with Partnership 2.0.”

NCL Corporation Ltd. is the holding company for various subsidiary companies involved in owning and operating the ships of Norwegian Cruise Line.

NCL is building two new Third Generation Freestyle Cruising (“F3”) ships for delivery in 2010.  NCL today has the youngest fleet in the industry, providing guests the opportunity to enjoy the flexibility of Freestyle Cruising on the newest, most contemporary ships in the market, and has recently added its latest new ship, the 2,400-passenger Norwegian Gem.
