Massport Set to Start 2014 Cruise Season

This Friday Massport, Cruiseport Boston will kick off its 2014 season with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Dawn. It will be Cruisport Boston’s first embarkation for the season with the Norwegian Dawn, as she sets sail for Bermuda.

The event includes remarks from Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and other local representatives, along with Massport’s CEO Thomas P. Glynn and Port Director Deborah Hadden.

The event comes on the heels of the announcement of a record-setting 382,885 cruise passengers in the 2013 season, and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the port for the season, along with a tour and lunch for special guests on the ship.
