Hamburg Calls at Gozo

On October 24, the MS Hamburg from Plantours called for the first time in Mġarr, Gozo (Malta).

The Hamburg is a 15,000-ton, 420 passenger, luxury cruise ship built in 1997, in Wismar, Germany.

Upon disembarking to shore, guests were welcomed with a red carpet treatment and traditional Gozitan folk music. 

The jajority of the passengers onboard were of German nationality. Passanger reviews were very positive, according to the port.

Cruise ship anchored between the islands of Gozo and Comino at 0700hrs and departed at 1700hrs. 

The port agents for this cruise ship were SMS Ltd, whilst shore excursions were coordinated by Cassar and Cooper (S & I) Ltd.
