TUI Cruises has announced a partnership with the University of Bremen to promote seagoing and ship management careers.

TUI will accept two students for internships on its ships each semester. In addition, TUI executives are guest lecturers on cruise ship operations at the university.

Richard Vogel, CEO of TUI Cruises, said that he wants to present the cruise brand as a potential employer to the student body.

The University of Bremen has about 500 students of which 100 enter the labor market every year with bachelor degrees in ship management, shipping and chartering.
