Pregel Partners with Ganeden Biotech

PreGel America has announced new products and flavors, including a new partnership with Ganeden Biotech to incorporate the probiotic GanedenBC30 into its line of dessert ingredients starting with its new frozen yogurt mix Happy Yo Pro Super Sprint (Yogurt with Probiotics).

According to PreGel, unlike other probiotic strains, GanedenBC30 (Bacillus coagulans GBI‐30, 6086) can survive the toughest manufacturing processes, supply chain conditions, as well as stomach acids, making the probiotic both highly effective and efficient. Adding the probiotic, strengthens its ability to develop, manufacture and provide products with increased digestive and immune health benefits to the dessert industry.

Pregel has also introduced a Gelato Panini Press in partnership with Waring Commercial. The press is described as easy to use and light weight, toasting and sealing a sweet bun with gelato, ice cream, or frozen yogurt and toppings, creating a sandwich that is warm on the outside and cold on the inside.

A new line-up of fall and winter fillings and sauces has also been introduced, including Apple Pie, Pomegranate and Pino Pinguino Graham Cracker Arabeschis, toppings and fillings tasting like warm, cinnamon spiced apples baked into the flaky, golden cruise of apple pie, refreshingly tart with pomegranate seeds or sweet like graham crackers. Pino Pinguino stays soft while in a frozen environment.

Other flavors are Pumpkin Seed Dry Toppings – pumpkin seeds lightly coated with honey, ginger or vanilla.

Another new addition to PreGel’s lines is an apple cream than can used as flavoring, filling or topping and served hot or cold. The product is all natural, created from fresh apples.

“We are an ingredient company that considers ‘ingredient solutions’ that go far and above what we manufacture ourselves,” said Marco Casol, CEO and president, PreGel America. “Adding this superior probiotic to our lines is yet another way for us to provide complete solutions to our clientele.”

Commented Jillian Hillard, marketing manager: “The change in season is the best time to create new menus. Our latest products provide solutions that truly represent the essence of fall and winter, and the holiday season.”
