FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (Oct. 2, 2006) -- MSC Cruises’ special fly and cruise packages for residents of the western US have proven so popular that the line is extending the incomparable value to additional 2007 Caribbean and Panama sailings. 
 
Residents of Arizona , California , Colorado , New Mexico , Nevada , Texas , Utah and Washington will enjoy roundtrip airfare and 11 nights onboard selected Deep Caribbean and Panama itineraries of MSC Lirica and MSC Opera departing Fort Lauderdale .
 
Gateway cities include Albuquerque , Dallas , Denver , Houston , Las Vegas , Los Angeles , Phoenix , Salt Lake City , San Francisco , Seattle , and Tucson .
 
The special promotional rate is available on the following sailings:
MSC Lirica: Jan. 20, 31; Feb. 22; March 5, 16, 27; and April 7 and 18.
MSC Opera: Jan. 14; Feb. 5, 27; March 10, 21; and April 1.
 
These packages offer an incomparable value.  Prices (including roundtrip air, transfers and cruise) begin at $1,195 per person, double occupancy for an interior stateroom and $1,395 per person, double occupancy for an oceanview stateroom. Airport facility charges, government fees and taxes are additional.
 
Guests onboard MSC Lirica’s April 18 sailing will have the added bonus of rubbing elbows with some of the greatest baseball players to have ever graced the field.  This special “Baseball Greats” sailing features complimentary autograph signings with four-time All-Star Vida Blue, Earl Weaver, Stan Bahnsen, Randy Hundley, and Cito Gaston.
