Minneapolis, MN (October 2, 2006) — Cruise Holidays is virtually everywhere, or it can be, thanks to its revolutionary, proprietary Web-based business operating system, CruiseWeb 6.0. To date, three-quarters of the Cruise Holidays network has already successfully converted to this Web-based platform, with the remainder of stores scheduled to complete the conversion in the next three months. Unveiled at the 2005 Cruise Holidays Annual Convention, CruiseWeb 6.0 distinguishes Cruise Holidays from other cruise and travel providers by allowing franchisees and frontline agents the ability to provide seamless customer service whether in the office, on the road or even onboard a cruise.
CruiseWeb 6.0 handles all transactional accounting and high-level customer relationship management, and it’s been enthusiastically embraced by Cruise Holidays franchisees. “It has the potential of giving us unprecedented productivity improvement,” said Rich Skinner, co-franchise owner of Cruise Holidays of Woodinville , WA . “Our customers could care less where we are located when it comes to their vacations—all they want is easy, thorough and complete planning and implementation of their getaway. CruiseWeb 6.0 will be a boon to improving our customer service.”
The benefit to the customer was also stressed by Steve Levich, franchise owner of Cruise Holidays of Portland, OR. “One of our customers’ main reasons for working with us is customer service. With CruiseWeb 6.0, we have the ability to retrieve vital information about our customers’ trips from any location in a secure manner. This is just one more way to improve our overall customer service and total satisfaction.”
The Web-based version of CruiseWeb allows for greater, highly secure access for all Cruise Holidays franchisees. In addition, with all transactional information in a single location, the network will have the most complete and detailed picture of Cruise Holidays’ overall sales, which in turn will enhance its strength and negotiating position with the cruise lines.
“If we needed to know how many Cruise Holidays customers sailed on August 10th or how many sailed an eastern Caribbean itinerary in the first quarter, we can easily capture this information with CruiseWeb 6.0,” said Ira Kaplan, franchise owner of Cruise Holidays of Marlboro in Englishtown , NJ . “It is golden information. Personally, I think it is a great program and I think it is great for the system.”
Additional features of CruiseWeb 6.0 include:
* Vendor setup allowing for different commission rates on all items * Multi-bed inventory pricing and control * Cruise line itineraries and sail dates that are continuously updated * Automatic customer lookup in “Add Reservation Process” * Weekly enhancements and updates to the program, or as needed * History tab availability in the Reservation Wizard * Sales Activity Report on one report * Enhanced and simplified accounting processes; easy to understand audit trail for both individual and group travel * Web-based architecture allowing for future integration with other Cruise Holidays proprietary software, keeping Cruise Holidays technologically ahead of the marketplace
