Cruise ship Queen Elizabeth 2 completed its final Panama Canal transit Saturday morning.

The ship, which originated in Acapulco, Mexico, traveled through the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks on its way to the Atlantic Ocean.

Nine hundred sixty-three feet long and 105 feet wide, the Queen Elizabeth 2 will be given to Dubai in November 2008, when it will cease services as a passenger cruise ship and commence its operation as a floating hotel in 2009.
